Solutions Immigration Consulting is happy to help our clients who are wishing to become Canadian citizens.

There are two ways for someone to attain Canadian citizenship:

 1. Through Birth:

• Born in Canada
• Born abroad to a Canadian parent

2.  Through Naturalization, a legal process where Permanent Residents can apply for citizenship once they meet certain criteria, including:

• Lived in Canada for at least 1095 days during the previous 5 years;
• Filed Canadian income tax return;
• Passed a Citizenship test (for those between 18 and 54 years old); and
• Demonstrated minimum language proficiency in English or French (for those between 18-54 years old)
